Diagnosis Sin

"But every man is tempted when he is drawn away of his own lust and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death."

(James 1:14-15)

Commonly, when people think of sin, they think of it as something that is a natural part of daily living. According to worldly thinking and teaching, a little sin is not only normal and acceptable, but it is to be expected. However, the Word of God reveals that the world thinking and teaching is false. For as Paul wrote "This false teaching is like a little yeast that spreads through the whole batch of dough!" (Galatians 5:9 New Living Translation) Sin is like a bad apple. One bad apple in a barrel of apples can spoil the whole bunch. Sin is like a flesh-eating bacteria. Once it enters a small wound it attacks and destroys the whole body.

Proclaiming that sin is a disease is a description that very few people would consider and even fewer people are able to accept. The fact remains, however, that when you evaluate the definition and characteristics associated with a disease, sin fits perfectly.

This page contains information to help the disciples of Christ conquer and overcome the temptations of sin through the blood, knowledge and power of Jesus Christ.

The booklet "Diagnosis Sin-Facts On The Severe Effects Of Sin" characterizes the disease of sin; discusses the nature, attributes and extent of sin; provides insight on how to recognize the zones of sin; and speaks to the consequences and treatment of sin.
